Coercion is Often Right in Front of Us

We are living in a world where human trafficking, sexual slavery, and substance abuse coercion have become far too common. When we do nothing, we all become complicit in the violence and abuses against women in Pittsburgh and across our nation. Will you continue to allow women to suffer from the actions of predators, or will you help women break free from the chains of entrapment and coercion?

It's easy to feel powerless, as though there’s nothing you can do to solve these horrific and tragic abuses of human rights, but you can make a difference.

At Garden Home Ministries, we are doing absolutely everything we can to fight against these appalling circumstances that keep cropping up right in our own backyard. We are advocating for awareness, we are getting exploited women away from danger, and we are transitioning victims into safe housing, counseling, and lasting recovery. These women have lived each day wondering who will hurt them next, fearing for their safety, and held captive in a cycle of drug abuse and oppression that they never wanted for themselves. To fight this, our mission at Garden Home is to bring about a transformation in the lives of women trying to escape this cycle and bring about a future filled with days of peace, safety, and love.

We are doing everything in our power to provide beauty, hope, and healing to the people around our city who have been exploited by predators and neglected by their society.

You truly can make a difference today! Not all of us are equipped or able to directly fight human trafficking. However, if we all banded together to generously donate our resources, we absolutely believe that we can make a stand against predators and provide a pathway to peace and healing for the victims of substance abuse coercion and trafficking. Even by donating the price of a cup of coffee per month, you can build and grow our capacity to provide beauty and hope to women in need of reliable, safe housing.
