Blessings - Andrea & Ruby

Andrea

Andrea C. is transitioning into her own apartment in April. Andrea has been a resident since, 7/18/2022. She has brought joy and spice to the Sunflower House and will be sorely missed. She has done an excellent job of practicing spiritual/recovery principles and works hard to maintain her recovery. Andrea celebrated 1 year clean, January 14th, 2023, and has never missed a day of IOP (Intensive Outpatient Therapy) at Pyramid Healthcare. She is also currently working with the Salvation Army’s Anti-Human Trafficking Division, which has been a community partner for three years. They provide trauma-informed case management/rental assistance/housing services for GHM residents. I’m very proud of our newest alumni, she is truly growing, blossoming, and thriving like flowers.

Ruby

We are excited to announce that a new resident, Ms. Ruby, will be transitioning from the Light of Life Women & Children’s shelter and into the Sunflower House. We’ve established a wonderful relation with Light of Life as community partners. This is our second resident from the Light of Life Women & Children’s shelter, and we regularly make referrals to the shelter.
